english classes

we're taking a playful approach to teaching.

we’re not english teachers, but we do know how to speak the language, so we’ve decided that instead of offering conventional classes for the kids in the camp and local community, we are going to take learning to a whole new level – the mishwar level. who said it had to be boring anyway?

we’re adopting a more hands-on approach, based on the notion that we learn best through play. most of these kids have been robbed of part of their childhood, even more of a reason to get them all up and dancing, singing, jumping and shouting. using songs, movement and activities, our kids are learning english and having fun at the same time. admittedly, sometimes it’s hard to know who is having more fun, tony or the kids? either way, we’ve got a classroom full of energy and smiles and we’re already seeing progress.
